Alexey M.Lyalin was born July 4, 1947 in Beltsy, Moldavia (republic of former USSR), in a family of a military man. Married, has two daughters.

 

Graduated from Moscow Engineering and Economic Institute (now SUM) in 1970, in 1973 finished a post-graduate course with specialization “Organization and management for urban economy”.

 

Academic degrees and ranks, titles: Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.

 

Practical activity in the University: from 1990 vice-rector for academic affairs, from 2006 rector of SUM.
